Thomas George Hart
Volunteer Outreach Manager
Thomas George Hart is an undergraduate at CUNY Hunter College who is majoring in anthropology with a specific focus on cultural anthropology and a minor in public policy. He has volunteered extensively with local charities in Brooklyn. Thomas is thoroughly dedicated to helping those affected by various hardships from both near and afar.
Thomas believes that in order to make an impact, it is important to have clear communication with and understand the perspectives of those who have been affected by the war and violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Thomas has done research about particular topics that affect the Democratic Republic of Congo, especially the excessive injustices perpetrated against the innocent residents of the Kivus. He is looking forward to his role as Outreach Manager, where he will be facilitating relationships with like-minded and compassionate people, non-governmental organizations, and other charities to recruit trusting and understanding partners of Rehoboth Rescue Mission so that he may raise awareness of the ongoing humanitarian crisis that is happening within the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. He is very grateful for this opportunity and will do his best to contribute to the success of this mission.
