Who We Are

Rehoboth Rescue Mission is a humanitarian organization committed to serving children, young people, and vulnerable communities around the world

This Year's Focus.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to go to school, feel safe, receive support when they are hurting, learn skills that can help them build a future, and grow up in a community where peace is possible.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo has many young people with great potential, but conflict, displacement, poverty, lack of access to quality education, and limited opportunities continue to affect many families and communities. We believe that we cannot only respond to people's immediate needs. We must also help create opportunities that allow children and young people to build better lives for themselves and their communities.

Our Mission

Rehoboth Rescue Mission's mission is to empower, educate, advocate, and support marginalized communities affected by war, conflict, natural calamities, and poverty to foster long-term positive change.

Our Vision

Rehoboth Rescue Mission envisions a world where marginalized communities in underdeveloped countries rise above the profound challenges of war, conflict, natural calamities, and persistent poverty. It is a world where these communities are empowered, educated, and equipped to embrace a future marked by self-sufficiency, dignity, and boundless potential.

Our Commitment to Service

Phycosocial Support

We provide safe and supportive spaces where children and young people can receive encouragement and support as they deal with the effects of conflict, displacement, loss, and other difficult experiences. We want children to know that what they have experienced does not have to determine who they become.

Education

We work to increase access to safe and quality education by supporting the building, rehabilitation, and development of schools in communities where educational opportunities are limited.

We want to create schools that are more than classrooms. We want them to be places where children can learn, grow, feel safe, develop confidence, and discover their potential.

Technical and Vocational Support

We believe education should also prepare young people for life and work. Through technical and vocational training, we want to give young people practical skills that can help them find employment, start businesses, support their families, and contribute to their communities.

Depending on the needs of each community, this may include skills such as technology, agriculture, tailoring, carpentry, electrical work, construction, entrepreneurship, and other practical trades.

Conflict Resolution and Peace Building

We believe young people can play an important role in building peace.

We provide opportunities for young people to learn how to communicate, listen to one another, resolve disagreements peacefully, and become leaders who promote understanding rather than division.

Youth Leadership

We want young people to see themselves not only as people who need help, but as people who can create change.

We equip them with leadership, communication, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship skills so that they can become positive leaders in their families, schools, communities, and country.
